Gears 2 Flawed Shotgun

This is what we mean the shotgun sucks now this happens all the time it's a crap shoot to who wins unless their chainsawing since they can't be stunned they'll win fix this!

@Skormm Look man why are you complaining? Go play gow 1 if that your thing i don't really care. The point is it's more balanced now because the shotty is less powerfull. That's the way epic wants it for better or worse.

And people used the lancer all the time in GoW1, maybe noobs trying to be good would just run around with the shotgun all the time, but the good players who worked as a team used lancers as suppressing fire while their teammate(s) flanked with the shotguns. A lot of shotgun games did happen, and a lot of us LIKED them, hence all the Raven Down popularity.

@Skormm In real life one shot from a pistol would kill you so do you think it would be good to bring that realism to a game like gow? Of course not. It would be extremely frustrating to get killed in only one shot which is exactly what used to happen all the time in gow1. I can't tell you how many times i got bodied from 5 feet away in 1 shot by the shotty. A less powerfull shotgun encourages players to use other weapons more specifically the lancer (which was rarly used in gow 1)

@aieljose Gears 1 shotgun is what would happen in real life if somebody shot you from that close with a shotgun... Gears 2 shotgun is what would happen if somebody shot you with an Airsoft gun.

And how the hell is something unbalanced when EVERYBODY STARTS THE GAME WITH IT. It's not unbalanced. Shotguns are supposed to have more power at close range, that's the point of them. If they were the same power as a Lancer then nobody would use the shotgun.

It doesn't suck it just seems like that because gears 1 shotgun was overpowered. It's alot more balanced now.
