I got into The Velvet Underground and Lou Reed solo thanks to Morrissey, this summer at hopfarm festival I will see Lou Reed and Morrissey in the same night (and Iggy and the stooges). Going to be life affirming.

I would've liked to hear the songs he chose in their entirety

The way he speaks is like listening to poetry. He never stutters, and lines like "we got on famously" (talking about Marr) just show his genius.
