There are a few Demo Pilots who fly the many shows.  It was just Catfish's last scheduled show for 2008. He'll be missed by us Airshow enthusiasts!

Yes he is, but why in the middle of the show season? I just assumed the transition would be made at the end of the air show season.

He's getting transitioned back into the fleet. Demo Pilots only have a 2-3 year tour depending on which team they're on. Catfish is one of the best.
