@DirtyPeopleUseSoap That or maybe they were not super complex machines yet ways they used the earths energy/natural powers to achieve cutting somehow. Who knows.. Could have been a super energy source they harnessed that was like a laser beam or something to the effect of a "light saber" off star wars.. That would make cutting all those puzzle perfectly fitted shaped pretty easy Id say :)

If cranial elongation were a species there would be thousands of them all over landscapes.
If cranial elongation were aliens, they would have been worshiped TO THE EXTREME, preserved/places specially or spoke about very clearly/abundantly in writings.
The only thing I can think of otherwise, is THEY did this to people through force and practice. I believe that they thought it would make people look like the gods AND allow their brain to have more mass, thus being a god human.
