In this video I discuss how GM (genetically modified) Foods/Crops are created.

Bt - Bacillus thuringiensis
At - Agrobacterium tumefaciens

  • bongHITZx..no wonder your'e concerned. The process of inserting alien DNA into plant cells to create something so unique that it can be patented is unpredictable and certainly not as safe as SLC is saying. Independant research has shown liver and kidney enlargements, loss of fertility ,sterility within a few generations and prematures deaths in Bt corn fed test animals. Other GM feeding trials have resulted in stomach lesions, lung inflammation and allergies. GM food is not safe!

  • I know that I have said this on a number of your other comments, but just in case you miss it, I would love for you to refer me to the scientific papers of which you speak. As a scientist, I am as good as my knowledge and ability to ask questions is, I have only ever seen one paper against GM foods - which was flawed as the potatoes tested were genetically engineered to have a toxin harmful to mammals, so of course feeding it to rats was going to be harmful.

  • dumb bitch, i cant believe you support GMO. its fucking wrong and it doesnt work

  • VERY informative! I was always wondering how exactly it was done!

  • thankyou so much! this helped me immensly in explaining this GM process for an assignment! this was the only explanation that made sense, thankyou again

  • Sigh. So young. So hopeful. So wrong. Please see the work on Agrobacterium and Morgellons disease. A GM Connection. This paper is very old. The case has been sealed. Lateral gene swapping allows agrobacteria to survive in the food chain, and now infects humans. Start researching a cure. You will make more money.

  • LOL as ur fixing your glasses I'm fixing mine. I'm sorry U prob feel self concious and here I am pointing that out like an ass but only to show ur not alone!

Very good video. It was too long for a project I'm doing but thats not your fault. Good job.

  • i'm really enjoying your videos! i would suggest writing out a brief script or something to help your videos become more focused.. and don't be afraid to repeat yourself while recording. it's very important for the message to be fluid and concise.

and for in-depth explanations, i would suggest some visual aids :)

  • Great video, was was very useful. I am very interested in Gen. Engineering.

    Keep the videos coming :)
