Trackmania Nations Forever on Linux

Nations Forever works on wine except sound, and the lag in the video is due to the video capturing software used to do this video and not of the gameplay. The game is smooth as butter sans sound ;D

why q2 on wine? there's well known native port of quake2 for linux

Why so choppy?

Try running:

WINEDEBUG=-all wine something.exe

It gets rid of the fixme and other debug output of wine which slows down the emulation.
