Romans 8 - Heirs of God and Joint Heirs With Christ

THE EPISTLE OF PAUL THE APOSTLE TO THE
ROMANS CHAPTER 8

"Law of Christ brings life and peace—Those adopted as sons of God become joint-heirs with Christ—Gods elect are foreordained to eternal life—Christ makes intercession for man."

Romans 8:15-18 - We are literal spirit children of God as well as adopted into the covenant. The Bible, in many other places, helps to clarify our divine nature and what actual relationship we have with our Father in Heaven.

See also Psalms 82:1, 6-8 - To assume that God judges among other "Gods" would suggest he dwells amongst heathen Greek Gods or Gods as believed by the Romans... but this is not the case. He is speaking about "God's Children" which are EACH CHILD OF GOD BORN on earth. Even though we ALL DIE, we shall be exalted and resurrected by Christ the Lord.

1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Hebrews 12:9 - Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of SPIRITS, and live? - In very few terms, we have an "Earthly Father" and a "Heavenly Father" in a very literal sense.

Job 38:4-7 - We lived before this life, rejoiced in the plan to come to earth, and we were WITH GOD before the foundations of the earth. (But if not us, then who?)

4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Matthew 5:48 - Be Ye Therefor Percect, even as your father which is in heaven is perfect.

1 John 3: 1-3
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Do you have any thoughts on Romans 8..I can't say that I am not disappointed in some of the comments you have made on other peoples pages.

So I am to understand that your "double negative" suggests that you can say that you are disappointed in comments I've made on other peoples pages?

Let's find out first in what manner you have been crossed. Then let us see if I can back any of this up with other passages found throughout the Bible.

Definition of the word Heir = a person who inherits or has a right of inheritance in the property of another following the latter's death. (well we know God won't die but it does mention property;inheritance. What does God own? a person who inherits or is entitled to inherit the rank, title, position, etc., of another. a person or group considered as inheriting the tradition, talent, etc., of a predecessor.

What talents does God have? Rank? Title?

Last Saturday night, my wife and I left the LDS Conference Center with deep appreciation for the marvelous Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. I doubt there is any other place in the world where one could go to such a magnificent building, witness spectacular scenery, watch talented dancers, listen to the skilled voice of Michael York, enjoy the tremendous and popular voice of David Archuleta and then, of course, be mesmerized by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra.

They only chose ads from people who specified that they were either Mormon or a member of some other religious organization. So all these people took religion seriously enough to use it as a hook to catch a potential partner.

That fantastic quote, taken from a blog by a Mormon woman, appears in a new paper by Nicholas Rule from the University of Toronto and his colleagues. This same team has previously shown that people can pick out Mormons from Christians by looking at photos taken from online personal ads.

I ran into the TA whom I asked to speak on the Holy Ghost for my baptism. I was very excited to see him.
