I know 1881 has been scrapped now unfortunately (though its helping the brighton belle), but do you know what's happened to the rest?

they will need them again at some point if and when a few newer trains go in for a major service.

I have this train on my page at all parked up utill july this year when it was moved to back sidings of the yard at shoeburyness M.O.D. It's strange that I have the same train on my page on your tube ?

I sometimes see that train when I go pass Shoeburyness MOD on the bus.

the CIG units you see here are now owned by Knights Rail who saved them at the very last minuate as they ere due to be scraped and are going for a refurbishment with central locking & Eastleigh b4 returning to the mainline again at some point..

Excellent! My sentiments and comments echo those of Mr Supremo above. If it comes to Brighton when it's restored I hope it makes a stop at Portslade on the way :-)
