  • @MrPlaystation3freak Hmm...Thanks, but, as a programmer, I was talking more about the ability to write code in C++ or some other language and both execute and debug this code on the ps3. While something like this might once be possible with middle-ware like UDK (but not yet), it seems that Sony doesn't seem as interested as stirring up an indie game community for the ps3, since they only let professionals develop with the $2000 PDK.

  • @FatalNeurotoxin I dont know if anybody already commented to you on the ability of the PS3 to let you create your own games or not but the psx and the ps2 had japanese versions released that did just that. It was a standard console with a bunch of extra software installed. They may have made one with the ps3 as well. Check Ebay or overseas sources

  • @axzel575 They have a game coming out that uses almost its full potential. I forget what they were calling it. I think it was called Five. Anyway the environments react and with you and the weather in real time and every explosion or movement can cause different things to happen, instead of a programmed reaction. I heard they might have cancelled it because it was suposed to be released on xbox360 as well but it couldnt handle the space needed or the graphics. But here is hoping.

  • @123GhostMonkey PS3 doesnt have 8 processors.. it has 1 and 8 SPE's and the i phone doesnt have 18 processors........ how could they fit 18 processors into a phone??? the battery would last 30 seconds

  • the ps3s power is till not taped why so much power. they should make a war game with all the ps3 power

  • this is exagerated when he talked about pc....come down...its nice but it aint better than a real gaming pc.

  • @123GhostMonkey:

    I know.

But seriously, knowing Apple and their technology, we might actually be playing a Crysis game in 10 years on a 6 inch screen.

  • @123GhostMonkey:

Okay, let me know when it can also play Crysis 2 and supports 3D movies, then I'll buy one. Besides, I buy phones to talk to people, not for games. I mean, I got my PC and consoles to do that.
