Why would the Jews insist to condemn and kill someone when if they helped him take Rome back they could gain more - like their freedom from Rome and Allied protection.
Surely the gratitude of the most powerful emperor on earth would be reason enough for the Jews to help this Roman Egyptian exile? Surely if he was the rightful Heir of Rome, then he would have sought to make the Jews his allies. Why did he not get the Jewish resistance to the Roman occupation to help him?
