@nicknomo2 mmmm half true, but i tell you 72 mph becouse that;s my speed :s, yes gravity always helps but i tried to say is not to much, belive me that brake is so amazing

@charliedoja actually i've thrown this for years and it doesnt affect your arm at all, in fact its much better to for your arm than a normal curve.
my dad threw this pitch when he was a kid and his arm is in perfect condition.

@marklavic Well, I don't agree with the assesment that this is a 70 mph pitch. It looks about 60 mph to me (maybe less). Also, I'm well aware of the physics of the baseball. I don't think you are aware of the physics of gravity. 60 mph = .7s travel time. .7s of free fall = 2.2m / 6 feet of movement. This is cut in about half by the upward trajectory, resulting in the ~3 foot drop you see. The ball lacks sufficient topspin, and won't generate any downward force.
