The Truth About Tobacco: How Much is a Life Worth?

This video spotlights the devastating global tobacco epidemic and how the tobacco industry works to addict new users, especially kids. Data comes from The Tobacco Atlas, Fourth Edition, published by the American Cancer Society and World Lung Foundation and is just one way the American Cancer Society will be celebrating the Great American Smokeout® and World No Tobacco Day.

This annual event, taking place on the third Thursday of November, encourages smokers to use the date of the observance to make their plan to quit smoking for good or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.

wow! Powerful message for a powerful addiction! If you smoke and aren't worried about your health then you should be. If you have tried to quit and haven't succeeded, keep trying! If you need support get some! Read Alan Carr's book, the easy way to quit, do something! Don't leave this earth years to soon with a horrid way to die, those that love you will miss you dearly, and weep and wonder why you used the drug tobacco to slowly kill yourself :(

For every person who dies, two is practically born into his place. Deaths by smoking isn't the problem. It's stupidity. I say let stupid people die. Something must cull the weak. But, if you anti-tobacconists need something to ruthlessly attack, why not something just as dangerous? You know, that tasty beverage a kid could easily get? That one drink that cause so many deaths and regrets? Something called Alcohol?
