  • well. i want to ask, i have the same amp. zx 1000.1, do you use only one zx 1000.1 to 2 15" ? i have 2x 10" subs, 500rms, so it is 1000w/rms subs. would it play better with bigger subs on the same amp ? ... and, how do you adjust your amp, ?

  • @dasiver in this video it was the 1 kicker zx1000.1 powering both kicker cvr's. With bigger subs you'll have more cone area, which should make it play a little louder, but you also must have enough space for the bigger subs or you'll end up constricting them. Well to properly tune your amp, you must turn your radio up to about 80%, or until you know when it clips. Then play a -3 to -10db 50hz tone, attach a dmm to the postive and negative of the amp outputs and turn the gain up until.....

  • @dasiver it reads a certain voltage, since your subs are prolly at 2ohms final ohm load youll do this following equation. SQRT(1000rms x 2ohms)= 44.7acV. Another example: I have a single subwoofer with 4 ohm DVC coils. I'll wire the coils in parallel for a 2 ohm load. The sub is rated for 500W RMS.I have a single amplifier rated 500W x1 at 2 ohms. I want all of that power available (knowing that power will only happen for small durations).Volts = SQRT (500W x 2 ohms)

    Volts = 31.6VAC

  • whats the name of the songs?

  • @julioxdxdxd3 bass i love you and i believe "grippin the grain" by sean paul (not the jamaican acting rapper lol, a different sean paul)

  • is it ok to run a 1200w Hifonics brutus amp to these kicker cvr 15's?

  • @MrDMarcus12 o yea youll be fine!
