@3xquisit3 I wouldn't yell at you. The song engulfs the meaning of Grace and Mercy DESPITE the things they have experienced. The Clark Sisters lost their mother many years ago [Mattie Moss Clark], Karen literally had a 2% chance of surviving an illness she had, and the list goes on of the hardships they've experienced. Overall the song praises God for keeping and loving them [us] through it all. Those who have died in Christ are definitely BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED! Bless you!

I love this song, but there's something about it that I don't understand. Don't yell at me, I'm just looking for some clarification. They're singing about being blessed and highly favored because they haven't died or because God has taken them out of difficult situations. What about the people who have died? Are they blessed and highly favored as well?

A few hours ago, i was involved in a car accident. I had just gotten out of Church and was waiting to go home when it happened. This song is my testimony. Grace and mercy held me nd d 2 other people dat were inside d car. Eventhough the back of d car is totally destroyed, we came out w/out a scratch. The devil tried to take away my joy and rest of mind, but failed miserably. Now if its not Jesus who rescued me, who is it? Im Blessed and Highly Favoured, thankyou Jesus.
