If you haven't heard on the news hannah had the transplant and she's doing Ok. She had it two days ago.

People who choose death obviously don't realize that their family members will feel distraught afterwards.

And no, it's not "their right to die if they want to", that's an extremely cruel and naive view;

to choose death is basically the same as to choose sorrow for one's family members.

She did end up getting a transplant but in her own time, shes an amazing young girl and has been through more than most people for her age! Her parents are so supportive and in my opinion did the right thing!

My mother Just had a heart transplant September 17th 2010, she is doing amazing and has all of her energy and life back!! I am truely devestated that this 13 year old child does not want to seek out a longer life. Her parents should be held personally responcible for allowing this CHILD to make this type of decision.

I had my first heart transplant at ONLY 2 years old. I think she is making the worse mistake of her life, and her parents should be jailed for not forcing THIS CHILD to get the life saving surgery she needs. There are thousands of people out there that would give any thing to have a donor heart found, and get a transplant, but she's just throwing her life away. I think this is pathetic, There is a reason why they are called children. They are too young to make a decision like that.
