The slang term "slipping a Mickey" applies when someone drops a substance into someones drink in order to incapacitate them; usually to rob them. The term originated from an actual bartender named Michael "Mickey" Finn in the 1900's who owned a bar "Lone Star Saloon" in Chicago where he would rob his patrons after fixing their drink. And that's exactly what these major corporations are doing to it's own people. America no longer lives by 'We The People' but rather 'They The Corporations'. Unfortunately the gluttony of corporate greed has poisoned the music industry; particularly the major record labels into changing artist into something they are not. All in the name of greed. Countless carbon copies of the same thing being processed to force feed you the same message. All you have to do is follow the money to see who's really in control.
