Broken game is broken. Infinite combos break games and Goribus is a newb for saying this is how the manga is. Most of the major battles, save for Ken v Shin, Ken v Jagi, Rei v Raoh, are pretty even. Nobody is pulling infinite combo bullshit out of their ass in those and even if somebody does get a hit in, the battles in the mangas don't end up so one-sided. What Gori is implying is that getting hit once in the manga=instantly dead, which is very far from the truth FOR THESE GUYS.

I gotta admit, I'm ignorant of the game. Sadly, I don't own it and never played it.

From what you're saying, everybody has infinites/100% damage combos. Kinda "eh" to those, but that's a whole new set of implications: These people made Guilty Gear, if everybody has them, then it doesn't sound like they were included because it's "closer to Hokuto no Ken" it sounds like they were included because "that's how they make games."

(Also, Killer Instinct was awesome, don't be hatin'.)

The point of the game is that it's broken on purpose. To the point that it's actually perfectly balanced. See it's not that it's only certain characters that can do this shit. EVERY character can. And they have multiple ways to do it. But you're acting like it's something you can do with little effort or skill, and it's not. If you want a game where once a combo starts and you can counter it Killer Instinct is more your speed. It has auto combos and combo breakers. You'd love it.
