@mmuseb Hi man, got my 2012 SI since one month, and you wrote that the new SI will be better to tune. Just wanna know where you had this information, and why its better to tune now. cause im looking to invest a couple of grand next spring in it, is it true that we cant out an header in the new SI, and if we put cold air intake, exhaust line and stuff like that, you have to buy an Hondata computer to reprogram the engine with this kind of neww stuff? Only the hondata is around 1800. thanks!

@Jd3211 them extra .4Ls' are used for torque gains. Honda S2K 2.0L-240HP I think the K24A should stay in the Accord/ Acura TSX engine Bays only. 2.0-1.8L should be put in civics. And that TSX needs the real K24A2 not the skanky new K24z3 in the 09+ models...And when they do bring the right engine back(K24a2) they should throw a turbo in with it! hor just give us the S2k's 2.0 from 2002. not the 2.2.
I have a 2000 civic si and 2009 civic Si. the 2000 1.6= 160hp 07-11 Si 2.0= 200hp and the 2012 Si 2.4= ???? 240hp? noooo the new Si suck

Each car has different characteristics. That means each car requires different skills of driving it if you want the best performance. By the way, I had a ‘99 Si, too long ago and loved it. It wasn’t the fastest in the league, but kinda like the old girl friends, not perfect but every one of them rocked in her own way.

Low RPMS on a Si that sucks!

@Jd3211
You are not supposed to drive these cars with low RPMS.
