i agree, i think introducing a perspective from "within technology" was too much for some people to get. To me the last movie ties the series together, going from critiquing our dependence on technology with Koyaanisqatis, showing the masses we trod on to support our neo-aristocratic lives in Powaqqatsi, and then our own idolization of celebrity and fascination of science (among other things) with Naqoyqatsi

I'm a film maker, I made the point that every frame of a film is meticulously edited and watched by many production staff, the director himself has stated the meaning of each frame, it is a very unique set of films I didn't make any comment at all, like I said I was asking what you mean by false colours! If I was to do an analysis I would talk about them as a trilogy.

I love how this movie is very different in it's style from the original two. It has been tinkered with and manipulated to the point where it is an almost alien experience about the world around us. It will be a very long time before we see films of this caliber come around again and if we do I'm sure they won't capture the same magic as the qatsi series has.

A very much under appreciated film but the perfect ending to a brilliant series.

I haven't seen the whole movie, but from this clip, I think the use of visual effects actually detracted from it. Koyaanisqatsi was especially powerful because it used straight footage.

Nice footage of Perfect Dark, though. For all its violence, it sure is a fun game.

Awseome soundtrack by Phillip Glass. Some movies hinge on the power of their soundtracks: Apocalypse Now, Hellraiser Trilogy, and the 'Quatsi Trilogy are a few examples.
