Invader Zim- Dib vs Zim- Handlebars

Yeah, so I'm taking a bit of a break from AMVs where I sync the lips to the lyrics. It's not that it's too hard, it's just that some songs don't really transfer well to that sort of style, like this one. It felt to me like a Dib vs Zim video, and there isn't much room for a duet, unlike the Anything You can Do video. I just thought it would be a good song to kind of show the control Zim seems to have over Dib's life and how Dib's obsession over Zim is driving him insane.

Besides, it's a little harder to create a good video without the lip syncing. When it's just straight video, you have to work a little harder to make the clips relevant to the part of the song you put them on, and it just looks bad if it's too obvious, but confusing if it's not obvious enough. I don't know, maybe I'm just making too much about it.

This one took me a total of about 8 hours of editing. I'm mostly fine with it. I'm a little ashamed that I had to use the zoom in and zoom out effect on the part from the Rise of Zitboy, but the clip would have been too choppy otherwise. I just don't like how obvious that it's a video effect. To me, a good video effect should appear seamless, like it was taken straight out of the video, even though I've trimmed a considerable amount from it. The timing is a little off in places, but it's not too noticeable, and chances are, making it fit in the less obvious places would create more obvious timing errors later on in the video, so it's livable.
