This was the launch of the Liberal Democrat campaign for the Sedgefield by-election on 6th July 2007. It took place of Trimdon Green but it was invaded by a Labour mob who tried their best to stop it going ahead. So much for Labour believing in democracy.

  • This is absolutely the type of behaviour you could expect from Labours losers. If the UK elects these idiots in again they ask for all they get.

They have become the most poisonous corrupt party in UK history

  • Labour is the most destructive deceitful party I have ever come across, they are about to destroy the democracy in Northumberalnd. This is the party that had the audacity to call Margaret Thatcher now it is a part of deceit and hypocracy

  • Not just the case in Newcastle, similar attitude of 'Labour are always right, never to be questionned' and childish behaviour in public (and some sexist obectification and homo/transphobic behaviour) where I live. Sickening.

  • labour will allways win the the north-east...

  • google common purpose

  • what a bunch of childish snobs.

  • I think the technical term is a GAGGLE OF FAJ

  • typical labour belief in action:you cant have your say.you dont get a choice.

  • ' I want to work full time for the people of Sedgefield, I will move here if I win this election' well you didn't haha and I'm sure your constituents in North Heaton feel great about that comment!!!??? make Greg Stoned hand back his expenses!!!

  • I can't see the problem myself -- as rcbiebly says, it's not exactly a riot. The Lib Dems got their banners out; Labour got theirs out; no-one was prevented from speaking to the press. I think whoever put this clip up is making something out of nothing. Sad.
