1:26 what is the oscar in the corner doing with his gills mine is doing the same thing?
-
@MikeDMays read YOUR entire post, you said 'LIVE FINE in as little as 20 gallons', then you say a 2-6" oscar, oscars dont 'LIVE' to a max of 6 inches, they grow 2-3 times that, so an oscar wont "LIVE FINE" in a 20 gallon, i agree that a baby oscar doesnt need a 55 gallon right away, but the moment it turns into a 6" oscar you need to change tanks because the minute there growth stops because of too small of a tank causes major stress on there body AND CAUSES HITH, do YOU even know what HITH is??

@rosepedal911 Lmao@U im no expert but I dont need to be and id let you slap me once before I dropped your ass.for being the idiot here.Read the entire post dipshit! I said I recommend no less than a 55. I said it is possible for a 20 gallon and you dont even know what the fuck HITH is prolly. Hole in the head is caused from way more than stess dirty water is the main reason and yeah a 20 gallon gets dirty hella fast so I wouldnt recommend it but a a tiny 2-6" oscar isnt gonna be stressed in a 20

@3101010 Accept reality

@MikeDMays a 20 gallon are you serious? if you were standing right infront of me id slap you for being so stupid, a full grown oscar gets to BE the measurements of the front of a 20 gallon tank! a 20 gallon tank stunts its growth and stunts its life span! ive seen oscars being kept in 20 gallon tanks and they never "live fine" it stresses the shit outta them and causes HITH and premature DEATH........ "i recommend" dont talk like your a fish expert when you obviously dont know shit!!!!! idiot!!!
-
mine used to do the same. I introduced some new fish to aquarium and they stopped.
-
@MikeDMays Ive added a few fish and will be uploading another video later today. I hope to have a buddy take the large gold fish for his pond this up coming summer, there starting to get huge now.

@3101010 True... A bigger tank allows them to establish territory. However... if they where raised in a large tank w/ others, they will only have pissing contests but no injuries. I've been fihkeeping for years and my 125 gallon tank has 6 FULL GROWN oscars in it and they only pretend to battle. Each one 11+ inches but raised together since juvies. Great fun to watch. Mostly pair up in spots nice as you please. I swear they love each other. Always digging holes.

@3101010 Please do upload a new video it might shut some of the Trollers up!! If I had a decent camera id upload a video that would be sure to get alot of haters on it. I have a 75 gallon with 2 Oscars 2 Jack's 2 firemouth in it and They dont fight but ppl would wanna say Im a idiot. I say let me find a fuckin camera my water is crystal clear and my fish dont fight cept the 2 firemouth but its mostly show

OK First Let Me Clear Up Some of the BS that I keep hearing!!!! 1 Oscar can live fine in as little as 20 gallon I recommend no smaller than a 55 for one and if you know you have a breeder pair then 2 in the 55 is fine. if not then you need atleast a 75 gallon. That being said the Oscars in this vid have plenty of Room but they are both Obviously Males call it a hunch I dont need to sex them I can see so the third Oscar musta been a female. the 2 males will fight to the death
your oscars r fighting becouse tank so small
