Whole grain turns to sugar in the body just as table sugar does, there are even a lot of whole grain bread that spikes your blood sugar faster than table sugar does, so whole grains are bad, one should get ones carbs from green vegetables and certain fruits or berries instead.

I cut out carbs and eat a very low fat diet, i trained hard! running several miles a day! I got down from 15st 8lbs to 13stone in less than 3 months! now im 16st 8lbs!!!! its ok loosing it but trying to keep it off was difficult and its all because i THOUGHT by eating less and cutting out calories would work, but all the time im forgetting i need to stick to a healthy eating option! that way, id still be at 13stone or even lighter!

I don't separate out my calories based on kind of food, only on carbs, protein, fats, etc.. I recommend tracking your food at a place like calorie-count(.)com or sparkpeople(.)com (just create an account) for a week and seeing where your percentages for the week fall in carbs, protein, and fats. Then you'll have a good idea of where to change your diet to eat more balanced.
