Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week Highlights - Sunday 7th August 2011

In recognition that many families enjoy the summer holidays racing or spectating at Cowes Week, Aberdeen Asset Management introduced the event's first ever Family Day on Sunday. A whole range of initiatives were introduced so that families could get the most out of the UK's largest sailing regatta, with spot prizes for sailing families, family discounts on sailing lessons, RIB rides, face painting and stargazing with a local astronomer. Double Olympic gold medallist Shirley Robertson handed out the prizes in the flag-making competition. Donald Wilks enjoyed a family day out on the water as clouds gave way to bright sunshine on the second day of the UK's largest sailing regatta on the Isle of Wight.
