Many reports of "rings of fire" in the Mediterranean Sea, have been reported, supposedly caused by the natural bioluminecence of plankton, and seismic activity in the area. These same seismic occurances have been associated with atmospheric phenomenon, including ball lightning.....but who really knows?

True, this might have been nothing more than tectonic activity, but it is strange. Just found it interesting and thought Id share it. It is curious though if these rings of fire have been so commonly reported why they arent reported today. Why arent we seeing headlines such as, U.S. Navy Spots Strange Lights Coming Out of the Ocean! There are videos of ball lightning here on YouTube, and we both know how rare that is to see, let alone film,

(continued) but if there were phenomenon such as this going on in the seas today, as close as the seas are being watch by warring nations and environmentalist, why there isnt video of something like what Columbus reported on YouTube. Well, you did say rings of fire were reported in the Mediterranean Sea and Columbus was in the Atlantic near America during this sighting. I guess youre talking about something else.
