nothing about jesse james and how john wilkes booth actually got away and the guy they killed in the barn, was proved that it wasn't even him??? Jesse James killed john booth like 30 years later..Jesse faked his death as well.. Being as he was the general of the gorilla confederate army after the civil war. jesse lived to 104 0r 106.. there are even pictures of him.

These other "theories" are by sensationalist writers, who want a cool story, to sell books, or possibly take attention away from John Surratt's escape, as he fled, and was welcomed by the Vatican, and became a Papal Zouave.

@dskillz1 No, I haven't heard of that one.. Seems like a good one.. Searched around but I couldnt find a pdf of it.. I dont have much info on the French wanting to get involved with the South, other than the Pope sending Maximilian I with a French army, and Napoleon III support to take over Mexico, and try to move North to help the Confederacy take over the whole continent.. Let me know how that book is..

A solid summation. Have you read "The Web of Conspiracy" by T. Roscoe by any chance? It's on the shelf to my left, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Have you more info on the plans of the French to control the Confederate states, as opposed to the Brits controlling the Union - and the Russian Tsar blocking them while this conspiracy went on? What a rich history - the Power Elite had to wait to 1913 to deliver the coup de grace - but this stuff was the clear beginning to our current mess.
