Just as I mentioned on the previous video I made of Rendering Ranger R2, Stage 3 is the first of the shooter stages of the game, wich are simply amazing! Keep in mind, the cart had no custom chip, it was all made possible by Manfred Trenz amazing assembly wizardry and the SNES hardware.

Puts most games of the gender to shame...

Find out more about the game, including a Manfred Trenz interview at SNES central:

  • fire shield!

  • Amazing!!!! I want it so bad just too bad it's so expensive and rare :-(

  • @maiki60fps The SLOOOOW CPU was fast enough to run games like Road Runner's Death Valley Rally which was faster than anything Mega Drive had to offer.

  • Katakis Lives!

  • I see nothing special about this game. The sprite fx could be easily done on Genesis as well, with less colour of course, but you know what... we all know that Genesis has more efficient sprite memory management I mean SNES should have had at least double the video RAM considering its limitation to just 2 fixed sizes of the sprites and amount of colours to be used... not even mentioning the SLOOOOW CPU...

  • took 3 AND THREE! years to make this bitch

  • @MrRewney and it costs 1000 Dollar

  • Nice graphics and no slowdown. I really dislike the music though. There is something about the music in games made in Europe that I don't like. It's like all the games for the Amiga, they use the same synth sounds that I just don't like. Thanks for the videos though.

  • @ShiryuGL are there only japanese versions? where can i buy that from? i could easily get a converter. i can't find the game anywhere!
