SH3: defeating Split Worm with beam saber (on hard).

Emphasis is on technical accuracy and entertainment (and taking as little damage as possible). I'll probably do videos of other bosses dealt with this weapon (and other weapons) too. Watching this series may cause restlessness, though, since Heather very scarcely stops doing things.

Beam saber is normally a clumsy weapon because of its slow weapon stance... fortunately you can bypass it by trying to enter the weapon stance while running or walking. Its power is somewhat better than average, and it's neat to look at. The range isn't bad either.

I attack with weak attacks during this video. Strong attacks work differently against this boss, maybe not as effectively. In my experiences the boss counter-attacked more aggressively after strong hits.

Note: played on hard.

On next fear, it's in a dead end corridor right past the room from which you get the bookstore key. There's also some special condition regarding melee/shooting kills which needs to be fulfilled.

This thing is a prime example of the dreaded "Penis Dentada". I'm sure the fact that it goes in and out of those tunnels is MEANT to signify sex, like what Emilio940 said.
