I tried this, but I couldn't do it, as the .VOB extension isn't shown in the filename of my videos (it would basically be "VTS_01_1"), so I had to right click on the file, click on "Open With, Choose Default Program" and choose vegas11.exe. Problem solved.
But good tutorial, though. :)

@LordReserei01 Okay, thanks!

Another possibility is that it's either the software you used to rip the DVD or Sony Vegas Pro itself which you might have to re-install those...all of this is just a guess since I haven't had that issue either

Is there a way to do this importing only the video, without audio?

You can just right click on the audio track to the side (where the icons are) and delete the track.

@LordReserei01 Actually I just realized, from another tutorial of yours, that I could ungroup the individual audio\video tracks - then delete. I didn't know you could do that. I couldn't delete the whole track because I had several different clips on the timeline. Thx again. Great tutorials!

You'd be surprised what you can do. You know that oh so great "auto ripple" tool that appeared in Final Cut for OSX last year?...Sony Vegas has had it for years now. It's an underrated program.
Happy my tutorials helped and hope they continue to. =)
