I think i like the surrounding areas of Vegas more then Vegas itself. Last time I was there we headed down to Zion National Park, Mohave desert, and Death Valley. There's some fantastic scenery in that area.

It is wonderful to see someone visit Las Vegas and know they saw more than the billion dollar arcade. Hoover Dam, whats left of Lake Mead, then the crown jewel of Clark County, Red Rock Canyon. Splended isn't it. If you enjoy hiking, the area north of Calico Basin has great history, petroglyphs.
