IDP land standoff

In Mau Narok angry residents evicted government surveyors who had been sent to demarcate the now controversial land earmarked for IDPs. The residents held a protest moments after Special Programmes Minister Esther Murugi vowed that the IDPs would be settled on that land whether the area residents liked it or not. And as Rita Tinina reports, the government now says it may resort to forceful acquisition of the land if the standoff continues.

...First of all, these people should not carry these weapons in public in the name of tradition. These are dangerous weapons and the government should bun carrying of such weapons in public. I think the kenya police leadership is very ignorant and don't anticipate chaos. Use of force is used at any time to disarm such people. They are obviously inciting and treatening others. Why is the Minister speaking in Kikuyu? Is she settling Kikuyus in Maasai land? Kikuyus are everywhere. Leave Maasi land alone people!

Tribalism is a way of life in rural Kenya.Unless GOK want more blood shed, Settling the IDPS IN maa land should not be an option. GOK should settle the idps around mt Kenya region.

You will be suprised what a very swiift mobile MPDF can do to the mighty Kenya Army. its not our first time expelling Kiuks in RV. we have done it in 1993, 1995 and then despite having one of their own in power, Maasai still beat the shit out of Kikuyus in both Maimahiu and Naivasha in 2005. kumbuka sana.

I know very well what i am saying and mean what i am talking about. see i live a life of comfort here but would rather live it so i could travel to Kenya and fight alongside the Maasai People Defense Force. (MPDF) oh and by the way a lot of tribes will be happy to see us take arms against PNU and their enemy agents.
