  • By the yellow look on his face, it seems like he is the one with the disease.

  • @ACNC1 Poor soul, he needs to see a medic right away. =) In actual fact yellow for human skin was common in Spectrum loading screens, perhaps it was where Matt Groening got the idea for yellow characters in the Simpsons. =)

  • Kinda sad listening to this now that we've learned of Joffa Smith's passing. RIP Joffa!

  • @lyame6691 I know mate it sucked big time, felt like part of your childhood was wiped away from you. Very sad =(

  • Great tune, Martin Galway was a legend. Ping Pong being anotherone of his greats. Thanks for posting, loved this game and completed it many times.

  • No problem, apologies for the late response, six months worth of comments to catch up on and this is one page I've missed =( Anyways, Galway's was a little bit hyper for me personally but it was still good music. Terra Cresta is another good one he done.

  • Looks like Homer Simpson

  • @Otouto72 Thanks for the reply. Yes I loved the music from Terra Cresta back in the day. Wasn't this theme also used in the C64 version of Arkanoid albeit a much better version. The Speccy version as much as I love sounded like a Budgie on steroids, lol. Check out the Arkanoid tune here:

  • Actually I'll be frank, the real reason it was hurting my ears was because I was wearing earphones =p

  • True. it can hurt a little if you keep listening for hours those tunes, nowadays since we have a habit for stereo sound. In the past, there was only mono sound, so there was no problem to hurt our ears.

  • @Dag2PT I had a 128K Spectrum and although it produced the better sound, some 128K tunes sound bland compared to 48K. So indeed, some 48K tunes are better. BTW this honestly hurts my ears lol.

  • I love the retro beats tunes a lot. it was one of the best. 48k had the better tunes than 128k...
