i put my amp in and every thing was conected to the car like the battery and every thing so i put the red cable in while it was connected to the battery and then the remote then the ground then it sparked and turns on but dosnt put sound out do you know whats going on
hey can you help me i opened up my amp and output mosfets were no good so i replaced them and now the amp just stays in protect mode i need help i dont know what wrong now i thought that would be the problem and i tested all the ones i replaced and there all fine
so i was hooking up a pulsing light on my amp and when i turned it on it made a loud ass thump and i quickly turned it off and then some smoke came out threw the amp vents, im pissed but i think ill just send it back
hi romi1rome, i have a soundstream monoblock in protect that gives my sub a 'pulsing' type response with no audible sound. i'm from australia and the tech support from the states said it's probably the 'vertical driver pcb' - what does this mean?
I have question I got a kenwood kac7202 having trouble with it amp comes on fans comes on but I don't get sound I got brand new RCA's speaker wire but no sound triedother things looked in the amp see nothing burned what can u tell me
Hey thanks for the video. I am an computer engineer with electronics experience but I still found your video helpful as I have never worked with car audio amplifier. Another way to test: Try using your multimeter on resistance mode and check across the + / - speaker terminals in order to see if a power mosfet has shorted. It will read close to 0 if it has shorted. It should read near infinity if it hasn't. This way you don't have to open your amplifier unnecessarily.
