I saw videos that show how to put a video in the footer of a Gmail, but you get better impact in the body of the message. The same procedure will embed any image. That's because the trick to embed the video is to take a screenshot and embed that image with a link to the video.
If you used Dreamweaver I can't help you, but I just tried it again with Komposer (a free download) to create the email, highlighted the whole thing and clicked copy, then pasted it into my Gmail compose form and it worked just fine. Remember you need to copy the actual page and not the source code, then paste that into Gmail.
I'm too cheap to use Dreamweaver, so I don't know what it can do. The main reason I use Arachnophilia (beyond it being free), is it doesn't inject a bunch of extra code into my pages. That way it's easy to use for other applications than web pages.
Thanks for your quick response ... I have not been able to get it into Gmail ... it loads the code as source code ... Do I have to change settings in my Gmail account ?
