2nd Song: Radiance
R. Carlos Nakai, William Eaton, & Will Chipman -- Dancing into Silence

3rd Song: Shapeshifter
Elysium Calling

Well, here it is. My video showing some of the photos I took for my second Alaska vacation taken in July 2010. Although it rained a lot while I was there, the weather was very pleasant, averaging 54 degrees during the day. That was so enjoyable especially considering that it was nearly 100 degrees back home. A lot of the photos are around Homer -- the halibut fishing capital of the world. At Homer, one can view four different glaciers from various points throughout the area. Homer is also well known for the Homer "Spit" which is a natural gravel land bar that extends from a section of Homer out into Kachemak Bay. Also shown in the photos are: Big Game Alaska Wildlife Center near Portage Glacier, the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, Skilak Lake, Ninilchik, Sterling, Soldotna, as well as various wilderness areas throughout the Kenai Peninsula, and various mountains in the Kenai Fjords National Park and the Chugach State Park. There are also photos of Mount Iliamna and Mount Redoubt of the Aleutian Range and are easily seen on a clear day across the Cook Inlet. Mount Redoubt is the volcano that erupted recently in March 2009. Weather during the stay was touch-and-go and I often had to give up on a photo I wanted because of that. Despite the uncooperative weather, it was a beautiful stay. Hope you enjoy the pics. Feel free to comment. Constructive criticisms welcome.
