@seachangeau Long term sustainable? If people are going to switch to Chaga, perhaps this should be looked into... i'd venture to say some native shaman healers that live in areas with chaga may know if this is possible.
Pland trees now if you want fruit years from now.

you are kidding about susatinable harvesting - that thing in daniels got took 15 - 30 years to grow and he says it will last him 6 months. sustainable ?

sepp holzer shows in one of his videos how he places mushroom spores in fallen trees.... can chaga be transplanted to birch in the same fashion.. ?

Mushrooms aren't like other foods, you need to boil the medicinal mushrooms to get the most out of the polysaccharides they have in them. It's not like cooking spinach and destroying the phytonutrients

I just went in the woods today with my son and we harvested a very large chaga mushroom - thank you for showing us - also saw Daniels video where he harvests it - too late for the call but will check out his website. Thanks again!!!
