2nd year project work from Lee Knickenberg on the Music Technology Audio Systems course at London Metropolitan University. Resistive Flex Sensors interface to a analogue signal processor; the resulting output voltages are sampled by an Atmel AVR running CV-MIDI code to produce MIDI Continuous Controller Data values in response to the interaction.

  • @jimrangeley Hi, this project was built using Resistive Bend Sensors. The voltages from these are converted to MIDI CC values by an AVR Micro-controller, then sent to a patch in the VPL Synthedit. If you wanted to develop this project easily you could use some bend sensors, an Arduino board and MAX/MSP. Cheers

  • I really like this idea.

I am looking at doing something similar as part of my degree. I am going to be using max MSP, what software do you use? Did you have to build your bend sensors or did you buy them?

    again i really this Interface
