great work, left Glasgow in 1975 as young boy but fully remmember the red trains and the smell that was the subway, my local station was Govan

really interesting. It,s amazing how we've changed in so many ways since these days! Particuarly noticable is the complete lack of health and safety back then! The project looked to be a huge undertaking and must have cost a fortune too.
I suppose it was around that time that Glasgow started to get it's dignity and respect back after the slums were pulled down. Glasgow Smiles Better and all that!
