@westhofer8 you are dead on!

If there is a particular technique he's trying to show, he doesn't do so on this video. This is akin to a magician doing a trick and then saying "okay, you do it now", without teaching you the secret. Another example would be doing a drum roll without explaining that the drumsticks need to bounce. I was looking for technique to speed up my feet, maybe this wasn't the intent of the video.

Dude. Watch him and repeat what he does. If it didn't help, you're not paying attention.
-
This showed him doing it, not teaching it. This didn't help at all.
-
Well, yeah, I guess so, but John Bonham doesn't stop midway through the song and tell you how he does it.
-
Those licks sound a bit like my tennis shoes in the washing machine on 40 degrees :).
Your good though!

People should be able to fathom it out from just listening to the record....surely?
-
And people want to know how to do it.

he's not hitting the pedal with his heel
anyone who thinks he is using two pedals clearly cant play drums

This is fucking lame, I thought he was going to actually be playing sextuplets with one foot, not just 3 sets of doubles with a space in between, which is what this video demonstrates.
