Hi there Lydiasayscheese, I am Tam. I am writing an opera in Mandarin Language, with western orchestra and some gamelan instruments, but would like to delve deeper into the gamelan instruments. Would you be able to help me out - perhaps suggest to me how I can get closer / hands-on to these wonderful instruments. Could I get a personal tour to the instruments at NUS or somewhere? Hi sorry. I was also a visitor at that time. Was part of my Music A level programme. It But i can help to ask my friend who's studying there. No guarantee yeah. Anyway I assume you're Singaporean too? This place is located in FASS building. Meanwhile you could explore that area and happen to chance upon somebody? I'll reply again about my friend.
