Armed with knowledge gleaned from Izard County Historical and Genealogical Society's "Early Schools of Izard County", Jim and I set out to find two old schools we didn't know still existed. We found them both and as a double bonus...we also found another schoolhouse and the Old Franklin Jail. The video contains a clip showing one of the schools we set out to find, the Colored School near Sweet Home and the old Franklin Jail.
