honestly i believe it is a machine (to a resonable extent) cus remember at the begining it was covered in rust and also that would be a good explination for why it needs oil its power source is fueled by it as they state n the show it is probley a machine put on the earth by ether aliens or an anchent civlization (mu, alantis)

@GTSfan200 that would be an interesting film. they probably would of done that for a godzilla 2, but Tristar liscence from Toho to use Godzilla expired so I doubt that would ever happen. Have you noticed that most of the characters on this show look and sound a lot different than they did in the movie. Especially Nick. Do you remember him going like GO,GO GO or MOVE,MOVE,MOVE in the movie. Mendel had darker hair and no ponytail in the movie.

Now that's some serious shit cause we all know that when the 21st century began, Disney started to turn into the crap for teenage whores it is today. If the disney part was true then that is a load of evil bullshit.This show actually was liked a lot better than the movie partly because Godzilla behaved more like the classic toho version.
