@JVonD Funny thing is, all I have connected in the RIGHT monitor speaker, the one with the amp in. No leads at all. Just a mains lead. I'm probably going to have to buy more speakers, i made up a filter for it but it didn't do anything. It's bad enough in a sound proofed room for the condenser to pick it up.

@JVonD You're right USB really sucks. All that bandwidth and it still sucks, it should be easier. I have analogue cables in the mail (and a new mixer.)

@JVonD hi, yeah this is what i found, it showed up as an AD but wouldn't play and record in full duplex. Piece of shit. I just ordered a Yamaha MG16/6FX It seems to do everything. I'm hoping it will work this time. I may use the R-16 for recording stuff. I bought it for voice over work only, But i've out grown it now

PS Your videos awesome
Hi, what software do you use to record? I have cooledit, audition, audacity and cubase vst LE.
I though audition would be cool as my R16 works as a DAW, but to be honest it only gives about 4 commands, and my mouse isn't exactly hard to use. My R16 isn't full duplex it seems so i can't use it for anything really. Going to get rid of it i think, it's a piece of junk

@RiseAndPrevail The ultimate setup that I can't stop talking about is the Presonus Studio 1 (V2) DAW with a Korg Nanokontrol hooked up to a MAudio ProFire 26/26. The midi control is flawless. I control 14 audio faders, 6 line mutes, 3 background sample buttons, and 9 regular sample buttons. No external samplers necessary because of the great plugins. Totally awesome! Best setup EVER!
I use Sony Vegas to record the stereo bus of the show that also gets streamed. =)

@JVonD I saw a nanokontrol for sale second hand here recently. I never gave it much thought. The software looks cool tho, will have a look at that. I'm currently fighting a mystery mains hum in my new monitors. Hums with nothing plugged in but the mains.
Even in another building. 4 hours and counting..

@RiseAndPrevail Nanokontrols are like $30 brand new. I'd look into the older, smaller, version because it has more knobs, buttons, and even an additional fader.
I had some hum on my speakers and tracked it down to cheap cables/adapters. I attached a 100' snake and XLR cable and it was clean as compared to a much shorter RCA/1/4" cable with adapter. And man I live in a high EMF zone. Good luck!

Is there no way to do this with USB ? USB would be interference free and fast enough for multi channels. Is there a way? I've just ordered a second sound card to try this. I have a USB mixer but it's a recorder and doesn't have send and aux etc on it. I need to do exactly the same as you

@RiseAndPrevail Hey RiseAndPrevail! I don't recommend USB mixers because they usually will limit the audio routing capabilities. It's very important that you use aux channel on a mixer to route audio to the skype caller so that you can have full control over what the Skype caller hears. Some USB mixers may work but then again you would still need an additional sound device for the caller. Thanks! ~J
