1975 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 with LT1 350 V8 Chevrolet Engine rebuilt by my buddy Kevin and his very talented friends who spend 12 arduous years rebuilding the original. Almost complete this is what an FJ40 on steroids looks like. Subscribe to see the mad road test we're doing next week.

  • Awesome rebuild, it looks sick.

Is that the volcanic beige from toyota or is it a custom color?

    Peace

  • @jonhdafista Custom color blend, thanks for looking. We'll be breaking it out in the Spring for a full analysis and timeline of the rebuild, including the parts, custom made parts, the people behind it, and most importantly, some crazy sick burnouts that will astound and amaze anyone who see how bad-ass this beast is!

  • Hell no its not a lt1. I dont think he knows what a lt1 is. I just put a lt1 in my fj. Thats a standard 350. Lt1s have center bolt valve covers, and dont have belt driven water pumps. let alone a wet intake.

  • @429thunderjet1 Yeah your right about more current LT1's, except this is a 1970 era LT1 Small Block V8, and after 92/93 it changed a lot. This engine could have been in a Corvette, not sure, but that doesn't really matter because look where it is now!! We're like 100% accurate on this one Bro. You learned something today! :)

  • that isn't a fucking lt1 lol.

  • @Sickness796 This is a 1970 LT1, also known as the "Vintage LT1" .. FYI

  • What an awfull sound! The car needs his good old 6cyl back under the bonnet! I'm sure!

  • Nice rig :D !! just wondering how high does it ride? and does there need to be any other work like radiator and stuff if i were to swap a fj40's engine..

  • @mikebarneynissan your getting confused with the LT-1 and the LT1

  • that guy is right i have a 1969 Corvette with a LT1 350. as far as the comments from the guy with the center bolt valve covers.. center bolt is a next gen LT1 thing. there were LT1 350's late 60's early 70's i doubt the guy would claim its a next gen LT1 and put a carb on it. and by the way there really is no visual difference between a 1970 LT1 and a 1970 standard 350 other than if it was in a vette it would have a short water pump for pully align configuration. so dont insult .know your shit

  • i might b geting one for my birthday preasent
