Ziboce What's Bagua Theory in Tai Chi 邵保勝解太極八卦爻

Peter Z explains his understanding of Bagua Symbols used in Tai Chi old books.
Bagua Symbols in eight numbers represent directions. These vectors can express motions in 2 patterns, i.e., Radiation with a centre, and Circles without reference to a fixed centre.
The essence of Bagua in Tai Chi is that the two patterns exist at the SAME TIME.

太極拳的四正方、四斜角，與八卦爻有何關系？太
極拳怎樣演譯這四四八？
我用「太極禪三盤十二勢」解構座標。簡單說，如
扭計骰。
我說，四四八，指兩種拳架運行的路線。
《太極拳論》的平準、車輪，可能指出，拳架運行
的路線圖。
圖形來說，即是放射線中心圖，與打圈圖。前者，
叫守中。後者，叫亂環。
所以「立如平準」，是正面看。「活似車輪」，是
另一個角度看。
八卦的關鍵，就是兩種路線，同時做。

太極拳，一名長拳，又名十三勢。長 拳者，如長江大海滔滔不絕也；十三勢者，分掤、捋、擠、按、采、列、肘、靠、進、退、顧、盼、定也。掤、捋、擠、按、即坎、離、震、兌四正方也。采、列、肘、靠即乾、坤、­艮、巽四斜角也。此八卦也。進步、退步、左顧、右盼、中定即金、木、水、火、土也。此五行也。合而言之曰十三勢。是技也，一著一勢，均不外乎陰陽，故又名太極拳。
