Group A: Love Fear Regret
Judges Notes: So if any of you haven't seen this movie then you should definitely check it out. Preferably before watching this but I get it if you can't lol! Here's a synopsis of the movie so you can get the general idea :)
Will Smith's character Ben Thomas causes a fatal car accident killing 7 people one of them his fiance. A grief stricken Ben, in an attempt to redeem himself and with the help of his Best friend (Barry Pepper's character) and people he previously donated organs to he decides to change the lives of 7 people by donating his organs/tissue to 7 worthy people. (He also decides to give his house to a battered woman and her children.) The movie starts out with him well in to his list. He is researching #6 (Ezra Turner corneas) played by Woody Harrelson and #7 (Emily Posas heart) played by Rosario Dawson. During his research he falls in love with Emily and therefore complicating his journey towards redemption. Ultimately he decides to stick with his decision to commit suicide to donate his corneas and heart to Ezra and Emily respectively.
It sounds more complicated than it is and I suck at summaries. I decided to show these emotions in such a way that they can be interpreted by the viewer. The regret for the accident, fear of living with his mistake, fear of dying, fear of falling in love with Emily and fear of living without her and of course there's love, the love of his fiance, the love of his best friend and Ben and Emily's love.
