He was being soo god the other day with him! His hard lead is his right lead and he would pick it up right away! We are doing little tiny jumps with him because we just started him with jumping but he loves it! You can see him looking for his distances! I will defiantly do grids with him today or tomorrow and I will post a video! He looks a lot like your mini Sundance Kid
The Mini is getting so much better! I have posted a video of him! Please check it out! I trained him like a hunter horse so he always gets his right leads! haha

@LiveLaughRideHorses Oh my gosh, we are so alike! I tried to teach them leads, even though leads don't matter in mini show jumping classes. But training them as if they were actual full sized hunters really makes them better jumpers. Try setting up some gymnastic types of jumps with bounces, minis are so cute doing that stuff!

How did you get your mini to lunge? My mini just bucks and kicks and comes to the middle of the circle, but its getting better

haha what a sassy little guy! As long as he's going forward it's ok if he bucks and kicks (not at you). He's just energetic probably. If he's trying to come to the middle of the circle use a lunge whip (don't hit him) but chase him forward. Make sure you're body is behind his shoulder and as you're lunging him walk at a fast pace too. It's almost impossible to get a stubborn horse to lunge if you are standing still. He will get it. My little buckskin was just like that at first.
