I was once entertained by a 10 year old chico singing a belt-out rendition of "La Camisa Negra" on a bus trip to Loja! I gave him a dollar. He said "¡ Muchas gracias!", but it was I who was grateful for la cancion, la sonrisa, y el entusiasmo.

Yes this was on the bus to Riobamba from Banos, it had to take an "alternate" route beacuse of heavy rain the night before and there was a two hour Andean traffic jam. These guys came out of the woodwork and started performing for money. They were great as you can see!
