Rubbish. Didn't work for plugin automation. Logic would copy the automation data, but it would not assign to the specific parameter on the plug (ie: the filter frequency of a filter). Your example was done with audio automation, I would assume this would also work with a midi channel plugin, but so far no luck. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Answered my own question - after copying it in, the issue was the parameters weren't being assigned. To fix, once you've copied it, on the destination track, select all the parameters, hold ALT and click on the automation param in the track header menu, choose the param you wish to copy exisisting automation data to, and release the ALT key. It will prompt you to convert, or copy and convert.
Simple, isn't it? ;-)

Is it possible to copy track automation to a different parameter on a new track? Say I modulated the cutoff on one track and I want that curve on cutoff 2 on another track?

@theeltea Hi, I've done a few videos on this topic. If you watch Logic 9 Copy and Convert Automation, Logic Pro Copy automation to a new track and Logic Pro, Copy and Move Automation you should be able to put all the techniques together and achieve your aims. Let me know if that gets you there ?
