  • Okay I loved the video for starters....but I HATE videos like yours because when I'm set with buying the 4 the 6 and junglas your last little tidbit with the 5 and the maxpedition pouch is gonna make me invest more money!!!!

  • @BrianRoxUrSox Haha! I know the feeling my friend.

  • My only thought on that grip and draw is that by drawing the knife out like that you risk cutting into your sheath, which would dull your knife. I don't think it would do anything to the sheath, but it will knock off a fine polished edge and make it less as a sharp as it was prior. Maybe a cross draw would be better so for reverse grip draws you can place more pressure on the spine without losing any speed or ruining your edge. That just might be a little tricky with your rig. Good video though

  • @naugotwolf A cross draw would be a great idea if I could manage to get the rig under control. It IS heavy. The knife is heavy and the rest of the gear adds quite a bit to the ESEE 5 rig I've got. Still, its 'good weight', but I think it cuts out a cross draw option.

  • I thought they were made of 1095 steel.

  • @tribunation They are. I put an annotation in there, but if you are watching on a mobile phone you might not see it.

  • @Wolverpaw I don't watch action movies. For someone who know how to use it, reverse grip is legit.

  • yeah, yeah... reversed grip for self d..?? sure... you've seen to many movies dude.. It's like barenocklefighting - the simple straight crosspunches or straight groindkicks are the only real effective strategy, all other fansy moves just does'nt work. the same with the reversed grip on a knife - I was attaced by a jerk holding the knife like this and he was'nt even close of getting areal cut on me before I got a hold of his arm - I broke his thumb and punshed him in the face - then went home...

  • @fatashous That and potatoes.

  • @joezbackwith2gatz Let me knowmwhat younthink.
